Clara, operated by Rosenberg Mansion Corp., may record, transcribe, and analyze phone calls made to and from phone lines enabled with our Service ("Clara-Enabled Lines"). This disclosure explains how call recording works and what is required of law firm Customers.
1. Automated Notice to Callers
Where required by law, Clara will play an automated disclosure at the start of a call informing the caller that the call may be recorded and processed by an AI system before any intake conversation begins. Customers may not disable this disclosure on Clara-Enabled Lines.
2. Two-Party / All-Party Consent States
Several states (including California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Washington, and others) require the consent of all parties to a call before it may be lawfully recorded. It is the Customer's responsibility to:
- Confirm which consent rules apply based on the location of their firm and the likely location of callers
- Ensure Clara's disclosure/consent prompts remain active and are not modified in a way that removes required notice
- Halt or adjust recording practices for jurisdictions where consent cannot be reasonably obtained
3. What Is Recorded
- Full audio of the call between the caller and Clara's AI system
- Automatically generated transcripts and summaries
- Structured data extracted from the call (e.g., practice area, case details, contact information)
4. Storage & Access
Recordings and transcripts are stored securely and made available to the Customer through the Clara dashboard. Retention periods are governed by our Privacy Policy and any applicable Data Processing Agreement.
5. Caller Rights
Callers who wish to have their call recording or transcript reviewed, corrected, or deleted should contact the law firm they called. The law firm may, in turn, submit such requests to us at support@claralegalai.com
6. Emergency Calls
Clara is not designed or intended to handle emergency calls. Callers with an emergency should be directed to call 911 or the applicable local emergency number.
